Letter of Intent

Welcome to the transition years.

Words and pictures are depictions of our neighborhoods, our homes, the people and their food.

We all grew up imitating what we saw here--adopting the mannerisms of the older kids, our brothers and sisters, until we obtained the confidence and state of mind to start shaping it ourselves.

The Queens we knew is shifting in front of us, as all of us are coming to a point where we have to decide if we stay here or leave.

We can barely identify its shape or bookmark our place in it.
The only truth is that we belong here right now.

The places covered are the places that we roamed in our minivans, mind numbingly bored for our early adult years--the same places where we felt it necessary to spend our time and our very limited income.

This is our Queens. If you find discrepancy, please make your own blog.
We could use a little variety :)
